Position: Site Engineer

Job Purpose:
The Site Engineer will oversee construction activities, manage site operations, and ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication with various project clients and management.
Key Responsibilities: Site Supervision and Management:
Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work quality and adherence to project standards.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth workflow.
Monitor schedules, adjust plans, and ensure deadlines are met.
Quality Control and Compliance:
Conduct inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
Resolve technical issues, verify materials, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution:
Address on-site challenges, including technical and personnel issues, fostering a cooperative environment.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records, report progress and risks, and document completed work and safety compliance.
Safety and Risk Management:
Enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance among all site personnel.
Client Communication and Management:
Provide project updates to clients, addressing any queries or concerns professionally.
Ensure clients are informed on project progress, timelines, and any adjustments to project plans.
Resource Management:
Manage resources efficiently, coordinating orders and delivery schedules to maintain momentum.
Continuous Improvement:
Prepare weekly and monthly reports to the management according to project status. Qualifications and Skills Required:
Diploma in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in site engineering.
Proficient in conflict resolution, independent management, and goal-oriented site supervision.
